What we collect when you use Plus 25, why, who else handles it, how long we keep it, and what you can ask us to do with it.
Who we are
Plus 25 ("we", "us") sells Dota 2 MMR boosting, coaching and replay analysis at plus25dota.com. We decide how the information described here is used, and you can reach us through our contact page.
What we collect, and why
- When you place an order
- Your Discord username, and if you give them, your email address and notes. The order itself: the service, package, price, and what you chose (for example your current and target MMR, rank, roles, server, schedule, heroes, or match IDs). We use this to confirm and run your order and to contact you about it. It's needed to deliver what you asked for.
- When you apply to work with us
- Your Discord username, optional email, MMR, region, roles, available hours, languages, your public Dotabuff, OpenDota or STRATZ profile link, and anything you tell us about yourself. We use it only to review your application.
- When you log in (once accounts are switched on)
- Your email address, and if you log in with Discord or Google, the name and profile picture they share with us. We keep your display name, whether member pricing applies to you, and your orders and their progress, so you can follow them in your account.
- When you visit
- Like every website, our host receives your IP address, browser type and the pages you request, which it keeps in server logs for security and to keep the site running. We also note how many orders or applications come from one IP address in a ten-minute window, to stop spam; that record is deleted after ten minutes.
We don't collect payment card details on this site: payment is arranged with you directly on Discord. We never ask for your Steam password on this site.
Cookies and browser storage
We don't use cookies for tracking or advertising, and we don't run analytics. So there's nothing to consent to. What we do keep in your browser, only to make the site work:
- Your order in progress (session storage): what you picked on a service page, carried to checkout and the thank-you page. It's cleared when you close the tab.
- Your login (local storage, only if you log in): a session token so you stay logged in. It's removed when you log out.
Who else handles your data
We don't sell your personal information or share it for advertising. These services handle it for us:
- Discord: orders and applications are posted to our private team channel, and your order is run on our Discord server.
- Our web host, which serves the site and keeps its server logs.
- Supabase: stores accounts, profiles and orders once logins are switched on.
- Discord and Google, if you choose to log in with them.
- Google Fonts, jsDelivr and cdnjs: they deliver the site's fonts and code libraries, so they receive your IP address when a page loads.
Some of these companies are based in the United States, so your information may be processed there. They process it under their own privacy terms and, where the law requires, standard contractual clauses.
How long we keep it
Order details are kept for as long as we need them to deliver the order and deal with questions, refunds or disputes about it, and then for as long as tax and accounting law requires. Applications are kept while we review them and then deleted if we don't work together. Account data stays until you ask us to delete your account.
Your rights
Wherever you live, you can ask us to show you the information we hold about you, correct it, or delete it. Contact us through our contact page and we'll reply within 30 days.
- EU, EEA and UK: you also have the right to restrict or object to how we use your data, to receive it in a portable format, and to complain to your data protection authority. We rely on performing our contract with you (orders, accounts), our legitimate interests (reviewing applications, keeping the site secure) and legal obligations (records).
- California: you have the right to know, delete and correct your personal information, and not to be treated differently for using these rights. We don't sell or share personal information as the CCPA defines it.
- Canada: you can access and correct your information under PIPEDA, and complain to the Office of the Privacy Commissioner of Canada.
Children
Plus 25 is not meant for children under 16, and we don't knowingly collect their information. If you believe a child has sent us their details, contact us and we'll delete them.
Changes
If we change how we handle your data, we'll update this page and the date at the top.
